At RVCC we understand that pricey textbooks can be a barrier to learning. When you are searching for classes, look for the LOW or ZER tag on the course title.
LOW indicates the course materials cost under $50.
ZER indicates the course materials have zero cost to you.
How do we do this? Using a mix of library resources, free online materials, and open education resources!
Important: Because some LOW and ZER courses use electronic materials rather than printed textbooks, you may need regular and reliable Internet access in order to complete course work. LOW and ZER only refer to textbook cost. Please make sure to check courses for lab or technology fees. If you have any questions, please contact the instructor for the course you’re considering!
